It’s early May, and we’re still the the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Quarantine has been a surreal trip, to say the least, and it’s unclear when it will be over. To keep our fans (and selves) entertained, DykedDown reached out to some of favorite friends and colleagues to check in and see how they were holding up. The following is an interview with the one and only Daisy Taylor, conducted about 60 days into quarantine. Here’s how the model, performer, and real-life angel is holding up.
DykedDown: Are you the type of person who’s naturally prepared for apocalyptic scenarios?
Daisy Taylor: Both mentally and physically, I am so beyond unprepared, it isn’t even funny. I can be a bit of a worry wort and if anything really crazy went down, I might just want to die.
When did you start taking quarantine seriously? Was there a tipping point for you personally?
My parents actually called and told me to come home to stay with them, since things were starting to get very serious. About a week later, they announced the lockdowns and it’s been very interesting since.
Did you stockpile anything unusual or particular — whether weed or lube or baby wipes or even a favorite snack?
Shockingly, no! I haven’t stockpiled on really anything. I feel that it would stress me out if I had way more than I needed.
How has your daily routine changed most since quarantine became real?
My daily routine has changed entirely. I never really had one before and I spent all of my days doing basically nothing. But, I learned that I needed a healthy routine and began doing yoga at home, along with a good cleaning schedule. This time has helped me a lot in many ways.
Have you watched any good movies or read any good books since this started?
I’ve caught up on many movies, and I’ve rewatched a lot of my old favorites like That’s So Raven and Charmed. The Disney Channel Originals have been integral to this quarantine.
How has the pandemic affected your porn career? Have you started embracing independent platforms like OnlyFans more? Are you cam’ing?
I’ve just recently started to really take advantage of this time to make content. I was really the most motivated before, but now I’m making lots for YouTube! And I’m slowly, but surely, working on my OnlyFans.
What’s the nicest thing a fan has said or done for you since the lockdowns started?
Honestly, the kindest thing is just that they tip. This is such a stressful time and they still find it in their hearts to be so supportive. It continues to blow my mind.
What’s the first thing you want to do out in the world once this shitshow (hopefully) ends?
Once this all over, I can’t wait to get back out there and finish the projects that are on hold! I want to continue to direct, and I have a couple series that I’m ready to create!
Do you have any self-care practices that you think might benefit DykedDown readers?
I think just taking the time to really look into yourself spiritually. Don’t neglect yourself or your emotions. There are a lot of things that I didn’t realize still affected me, but now I’m finally able to work through them.
Tiger King: yes or no?
Mmmmmmm no. I still haven’t even watched it. I’m sure my interest will come around sometime, but it’s just not there.
